David is one of New Zealand’s most experienced investment professionals his investment career spanning back to 1985 and includes a period working in the City of London. David is also an experienced company director having had a 10 year role as independent Director of a NZX listed company.
David heads the Ignite Investment Committee.
Stuart is a highly experienced financial professional. He has worked for New Zealand and offshore groups across investment research, banking, investment management and financial advice businesses.
Governance
Chris is a Principal of Ignite’s primary investment research providers, Mapua.
Chris is a non-voting member of the Ignite Investment committee.
James has held this role since 2018. He has had a career in providing financial advice to everyday New Zealanders since 2007.
His business, Ontrack Financial Planning, advises on over $250m of client investments.
Claire has operated a financial advice business in the Waikato region since 2005, and has been a Director of Ignite since its inception.
Peter operates and owns the highly successful Adastra financial advice business, with his team of three other financial advisers from offices in New Plymouth and Palmerston North. He was the founding Chair of Ignite in 2018.
Peter is also on the Ignite Investment Committee.
With his business partner Paul Sewell, Michael leads the financial planning business Financial Advice Hawkes Bay from Napier and Palmerston North. Michael has been working as a financial adviser since 1996.
Michael is also on the Ignite Investment Committee.
Dan has led and operated his Christchurch-based financial advice business, Peak Solutions, since 2005.
Dan is a voting member of the Ignite Investment committee.
Luke is a Certified Financial Planner CFP who has been running his own practice since 2000 in Hamilton.

Shaynesse is an experienced IT and platform professional with a strong background in the technology sector. In her role as Platform Manager, she oversees and supports key platforms across the Ignite group, providing strategic oversight, technical expertise, and operational support to ensure platforms effectively meet both business objectives and user needs.
